Katherine Brophy is a singer-songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee who lives by the mantra: "Take care of yourself and others." Growing up, she was the black sheep in a Navy family that moved across the states- from the cold beaches of Rhode Island to the burning desert of California to the lush mountaintops of Colorado. When it was finally her turn to choose where to live, Music City was the obvious answer.

 

Brophy finds inspiration everywhere. Distant memories, cloud formations, and everyday life occurrences that would ordinarily be passed by become the cornerstone of her unique writing. Known for the complex emotions conveyed in her songs as well as her powerful vocals, Brophy has found herself in the heart of the indie alternative folk scene. Her self-recorded debut EP 'No One Loses' was released in September of 2019. Since then, she has continued to build her presence in Nashville and beyond. Her latest EP Wanting & Having is out now!
